Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 April 2026
Note: These terms are provided as-is and have not been reviewed by a solicitor. They are not legal advice. If you need certainty about a legal question, speak to a qualified lawyer.
1. What YogaVoice is
YogaVoice is an educational tool that helps yoga teachers and trainees develop their teaching voice. You talk to an AI companion, it listens and organises what you say into a Teaching Voice Document.
It is not medical advice. Nothing YogaVoice produces is a substitute for professional medical, physiotherapy, or mental health care. If you or your students have health concerns, see a qualified clinician.
It is not a yoga teacher certification. YogaVoice does not replace a formal yoga teacher training (YTT) programme. It does not certify, qualify, or credential you as a yoga teacher.
2. Your account
You sign in using email one-time passcodes (OTP). We do not store passwords. You are responsible for the email account you use to sign in. Keep it secure.
You must be at least 18 to use YogaVoice.
3. Subscription and payments
YogaVoice costs €8 per month. New accounts get a 7-day free trial. After the trial, the subscription renews monthly until you cancel.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. You can cancel at any time through your account settings, which stops future billing. Partial months are not refunded unless required by law.
If you are in the EU, you retain the statutory rights that apply to digital services under your national consumer protection law.
4. AI limitations
YogaVoice uses Google Gemini to generate responses. Large language models can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or made-up information. Always evaluate AI output against your own training, judgement, and the needs of your students before using it in a class.
5. Your content stays yours
Everything you write, record, or produce inside YogaVoice — your chat messages, voice recordings, extractions, class plans, reels — remains your intellectual property. You can export or delete it.
You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content so that the service can work. We do not sell your content. We do not train third-party AI models on it. We do send conversation context to Google Gemini so it can respond — see the Privacy Policy.
6. Our content
The YogaVoice app, interface, prompts, design, code, and branding are owned by the company and are not licensed to you beyond normal use of the service. Please do not copy, reverse-engineer, or resell the app.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use YogaVoice to:
- break any law
- harm, harass, or impersonate others
- scrape, resell, or reverse-engineer the service
- attempt to extract training data or prompts
- upload content you do not have the right to share
We may suspend or close accounts that misuse the service.
8. Your responsibility as a teacher
You are fully responsible for what you teach. YogaVoice helps you organise your voice, but the teaching decisions — cues, sequencing, modifications, safety — are yours. Ensure anything you use in class is safe and appropriate for the people in front of you.
9. Limitation of liability
YogaVoice is provided "as is." To the maximum extent allowed by Irish law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including loss of income, data, or opportunity.
Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Irish or EU consumer protection law.
10. Changes to the service and terms
We may update features, pricing, and these terms. If we make material changes, we will let you know by email or in-app notice. Your continued use of YogaVoice after the changes means you accept them. If you do not accept them, you can cancel and close your account.
11. Ending the relationship
You can cancel and delete your account at any time from your settings or by emailing us. We may close accounts that violate these terms.
12. Disputes and governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If we have a dispute, we will first try to resolve it informally by email. If that does not work, the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction, unless your local consumer protection law says otherwise.
EU consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
13. Contact
YogaVoice is operated as a sole trader under Patrick Joyce, Ireland. For questions about these terms, contact us at hello@yogavoice.app.
